DLD Boosts Transparency with 81,000 Listings Corrected by AI-Powered Ad Platform

The Dubai Land Department (DLD) announced that its new AI-powered advertising platform corrected more than 81,000 listings across the 279,000 it monitored. These listings came from Dubai’s leading real estate portals, including Property Finder, Dubizzle, and Bayut. The AI-powered real estate ad corrections were to ensure compliance with advertising standards in Dubai.

The announcement was part of broader efforts aligned with Dubai AI Week, which started on April 21 and ended on April 25. The event aimed to spotlight transformations via real estate tech in Dubai across multiple sectors throughout the city.

Ali Abdullah Al Ali, Director of the Real Estate Control Department at the Real Estate Regulatory Agency, part of DLD, said that the results reaffirmed their ongoing commitment to advancing real estate market oversight using cutting-edge technology.

“The Real Estate Advertising Governance Platform enables us to monitor advertisements more accurately and efficiently, enhancing investor and consumer confidence and reinforcing Dubai’s position as a global hub for real estate innovation.”

He also added that Dubai real estate AI monitoring through the platform would ensure full adherence to regulatory standards, which reflects the DLD’s direction towards digital innovation. “The use of artificial intelligence in oversight represents a strategic tool that reflects the department’s direction toward digital innovation and its dedication to achieving the highest quality standards in its services,”

The AI-powered Real Estate Advertising Governance Platform was launched at GITEX 2024. The initiative aimed to strengthen oversight, boost transparency, and reinforce investor confidence in Dubai’s property market.
