Dubai Land Department Unveils ‘Digital Sale’ Service on Dubai Now App at GITEX GLOBAL 2025
Updated: Oct 15, 2025, 04:16 PM
The Dubai Land Department (DLD) has revealed the exciting first phase of its new ‘Digital Sale’ service on the Dubai Now app, marking a monumental milestone in the city’s journey towards complete digital transformation. The announcement coincided with the DLD’s participation at GITEX GLOBAL 2025.
This milestone marks the entity’s dedication to aligning with national objectives, advancing the city’s commitment to the Dubai Economic Agenda D33 and the Dubai Real Estate Strategy 2033 objectives. DLD Digital Sale Dubai Now App sets a new standard in speed, efficiency, sustainability, and reliability for real estate transactions, set to transform Dubai into a knowledge-based digital economy.
The new Dubai Land Department Digital Sale service marks a revolutionary yet simplified shift in how real estate transactions will be processed. Using this service, customers can complete registration and sales procedures entirely online through the Dubai Now app, eliminating the need for paperwork and physical visits.
The app confirmed credibility and identity by using digital signatures through the UAE Pass app, allowing customers to finalize transactions swiftly. What’s more, the convenience of a completely digital process and an app that never sleeps would mean these transactions can be done at any time and from any place, in accordance with the Government of Dubai’s directives to deliver services through unified digital channels.
This new real estate digital transformation initiative in Dubai supports DLD’s broader goal of creating 100% digital real estate services, paving the way for a paperless and efficient property ecosystem. The department noted that the service will play a crucial role in sustaining the robust growth of Dubai’s real estate sector, which continues to attract record levels of global investment.
The ‘Digital Sale’ service offers a completely remote, end-to-end experience that begins with the seller generating a contract electronically and sending it to the buyer for completion. Once the buyer transfers funds to the designated account, the ownership certificate is automatically issued through the app, completing the transaction within minutes.
To use this DLD real estate service, both parties must have valid Emirates IDs, an active UAE Pass account, and a property located within freehold areas that is free from mortgage and held by a single owner. Thus, the service delivers a seamless experience in Dubai real estate digital transactions that simplifies procedures while ensuring the highest levels of security and reliability.
Additionally, the service accelerates processes and ensures high standards in terms of trust and transparency whilst enhancing Dubai’s real estate investment appeal and reflecting the city’s commitment to providing proactive, intelligent services that strengthen the competitiveness of its real estate market.
Overall, the service reinforces the DLD’s role in redefining the real estate sale, purchase, and registration experience for individual customers, cementing its position as a leading global destination for sustainable investment.
Besides the new ‘Digital Sale’ service reveal, the DLD’s participation at GITEX GLOBAL 2025 Dubai also led to the entity showcasing its Real Estate Instant Registration Platform, which provides real-time data on property transactions across Dubai, along with several upcoming digital initiatives aimed at boosting operational efficiency and enhancing customer experience.
At the moment, the Dubai Now platform offers over 350 services from 50 government and private entities, providing a one-stop digital hub for residents and investors. Together, these entities continue to reinforce Dubai’s position as a pioneer in smart real estate services and a global destination for sustainable investment.
